Spray Paint Doesn't Stand A Chance.

The destruction of one's businesses is something that we don't want to see. You put endless hours into it to ensure that it's going to be a huge success. When someone does something that damages that pride of joy, you might feel at a loss. Don't sweat it; SERVPRO has Soda Blasting equipment to help clear off any unwanted destruction to the exterior.

Granite is a fine rock that we use to blast char or staining off of materials regarding graffiti. We have two systems that we use, wet and dry, so our Project Manager will look at what route they should take.

Wet System

This system is used in areas that strong abrasive power is required. The product we use is environmentally friendly but still requires some form of cleanup. We can use this product both wet or dry when performing work outside.

Dry System

The dry system is used when the job is inside the business. We use this method when we don't want to get other materials wet.

How it Works

When soda blasting, we have our technicians use full PPE as they will encounter dust particles. We place the area under negative pressure to help eliminate any dust particles that become air-born. An air scrubber will duct the unit out of a window, so the airborne particles have a way to escape. This is followed up with a very detailed cleaning after the work area has been completed.

All vents and returns are covered to isolate the room from the HVAC systems, which may require a duct cleaning after the work is completed. By doing this, we are ensuring that none of the fine dust particles spread throughout the facility. Some areas may require shellac after the blasting is complete, but this isn't always the case.
