For this job, a thermal camera was utilized to see where the majority of water was sitting. This is indicated by the dark blue spots on the camera. This also helps with the placement of the equipment, so the home returns back to a state of dryness. Additionally, the carpet was removed and a flood cut was made. This means that two feet of drywall was removed from the base. This ensures that the walls aren't further damaged and that water doesn't bleed up the walls.
